The new Evo-Spirit 2026 range
4 new electric skateboards, 4 ways to ride. Xplorer V2 Pro, NEXUS, NEXUS Pro, and AXIS Pro.
We're introducing the Evo-Spirit 2026 range. Four new electric skateboards, four different philosophies. Designed in Pornichet, Loire-Atlantique, prototyped and tested on-site. We spent over a year designing them, testing them, and refining them. If you choose randomly, you'll probably regret it. We'll tell you what we wanted to achieve, what the result is, and who it's made for.
In summary: the Evo-Spirit 2026 range expands with 4 new models. Xplorer V2 Pro as a premium gear drive hybrid, NEXUS to start street and all-terrain mountainboarding, NEXUS Pro with gear drive and gold finishes, AXIS Pro as a 16S high-voltage flagship with 10,000 W of peak power. All come with a 2-year warranty, after-sales support in France, and spare parts available for 10 years.
Why this range, why now
We started working on this range a little over a year ago. The initial question was simple: what's missing from the electric skateboard market in 2026?
Yvan and Maxime didn't wait to answer. They've been mountainboarding for fifteen years. They've seen the gear evolve, they know what works and what breaks. At the Pornichet workshop, Hugo has been prototyping, disassembling, reassembling, and starting over since the brand's beginnings. Greg oversees everything and makes the final decisions.
From these discussions emerged a clear idea. A premium hybrid for those who have chosen their wheels and are looking for high-end finishes. An accessible mountainboard to start riding on all terrains. A Pro version with torque to spare for climbing. And an assertive flagship for riders who already know what they want.
Winter and spring were dedicated to testing. The Abbaretz mine, a pumptrack, skatepark sessions. Then the E-Skate Weekend in Pornichet in April, with about a hundred riders who tried the final range. These sessions allowed us to adjust a few details: the firmness of a bushing, the angle of a truck, the travel of the thumbwheel. In the end, we had four boards we were proud to sell.

The Xplorer V2, which serves as the base for the V2 Pro
Not a new model in the 2026 range, but essential to understand what follows
Before introducing the Xplorer V2 Pro, a brief detour to the original Xplorer V2 is necessary. This is not a new model in the 2026 range: it has existed for 2 years already and continues to be sold as is at its entry-level price. But since the Xplorer V2 Pro adopts its entire architecture, it's best to be clear about what this base offers before explaining what the Pro adds on top.
The Xplorer V2 is our versatile electric longboard. Its particularity is its simple and quiet belt drive transmission, which allows you to change wheels in a few minutes without complex disassembly. Nine sets of wheels are compatible: urethane for city riding and asphalt, 6 or 7-inch inflatable all-terrain tires for paths and trails, and all intermediate configurations. The 12S electronics with a Samsung 50S battery deliver more than enough power for 95% of uses, and the range reaches approximately 35 km in mixed use depending on the rider's profile and the terrain.
This board is what the Xplorer V2 Pro complements, not replaces. If you want versatility with easy wheel changes and the best price-performance ratio in the range, the Xplorer V2 remains the right choice. If you have made your definitive wheel choice and are looking for long-lasting gear drive transmission with gold finishes, you'll move on to the V2 Pro right after.
Xplorer V2 Pro, the premium gear drive hybrid
The Xplorer V2 enhanced in transmission and finishes
The Xplorer V2 Pro retains the proven base of the Xplorer V2 (bamboo and fiber dropdown deck, Samsung 50S 15 Ah battery, 6,000 W of peak power) but switches to gear drive with gold anodized finishes.
The main advantage of gear drive is maintenance. Where a belt can loosen or break depending on use and terrain, gear drive doesn't break and only requires regreasing approximately every 1,500 km. More reliable in the long term.
On the flip side: changing wheels between all-terrain and street is more complex with gear drive than with belt drive. That's why the Xplorer V2 Pro is aimed at customers who have already made their wheel choice, or who will only change tires on the rims. If you want to be able to regularly switch between the nine compatible wheel sets, opt for the original Xplorer V2 instead.
Regarding finishes, the gold pack is everywhere: motor end caps, striped grip tape, hardware, and a CNC aluminum shell with a gold finish to protect the remote control, matching the board.
What we like
The gear drive is more reliable over time: no broken belts, regreasing every 1,500 km. The CNC aluminum gold remote control protects the electronics and complements the pack well. The gold finishes are consistent throughout.
Who it's for
Riders who already know what wheels they want and don't want to change them often. For those looking for versatility and easy wheel changes, the original Xplorer V2 with belt drive remains the right choice.
NEXUS, street and all-terrain electric mountainboard
Our first mountainboard, designed to go anywhere
The NEXUS is Evo-Spirit's first electric mountainboard. And it's not calibrated solely for all-terrain. The board's design allows you to ride equally well on street and trails: more stability thanks to MTB trucks, but good carving on asphalt.
Regarding electronics, it's close to the Xplorer V2 but with slightly larger motors that increase power. Samsung 50S 12S3P battery (15 Ah, 648 Wh), two 6384,140 KV motors with belt drive, 6,400 W combined power, 55 km/h electronically limited in Sport mode, approximately 35 km of all-terrain range.
It comes without straps mounted, but with straps included and inserts already in place for you to add them when you're ready. The belt drive has a simple advantage: the belt can be changed in a few minutes, and all parts are in stock with us.
What we like
The board allows you to ride street and all-terrain without compromise: stable MTB trucks, but carving that works very well on asphalt. The belt drive is quiet and the belt changes quickly. Bindings and inserts are provided for progressing to riding with your feet strapped in.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants to discover electric mountainboarding with a board that isn't exclusively all-terrain. If you ride in the city during the week and on trails on the weekend, this is the right entry point into MTB riding.
NEXUS Pro, gear drive and gold finishes
The NEXUS enhanced in transmission and finishes, for riders who have made their choice
Same power, same electronics, same hybrid street and all-terrain use as the NEXUS. The difference lies in the transmission and finishes. Gear drive instead of belt, plus the gold finishes pack (motor end caps, striped grip tape, CNC aluminum remote control, hardware).
With gear drive, you can venture a little further into technical all-terrain without fearing a belt breaking on rocks. It's also more reliable over time: regreasing every 1,500 km instead of regular belt tension monitoring.
However, note that gear drive is a bit noisier than belt drive. It's still quite light, but if you're looking for the quietest board possible, it's better to stick with a belt transmission. In terms of power, electronics, bindings, and trucks, the NEXUS Pro is identical to the NEXUS. The difference is really in the transmission and finishes.
What we like
More reliable over time and more reassuring on rocky trails. The gold finishes are clean, not flashy. And the CNC aluminum shell protects the remote control from falls.
Who it's for
MTB riders who want less maintenance over time and regularly venture onto technical trails. If you're looking for the quietest board possible, we'd direct you towards the NEXUS with belt drive.
AXIS Pro, the 16S flagship
The top of the range. Top box battery, 16S, 90 A ESC.
The AXIS Pro is our 2026 flagship. We're changing the design: the battery moves from under to on top of the deck, in a top box. This avoids hitting rocks and curbs and gives more clearance over obstacles. Even if our batteries can withstand impacts, it's always better to avoid scratching them.
Regarding the deck, we keep the same structure as the other mountainboards. What really changes is the 16S (60 V) battery capacity and a much more powerful controller. The result: 10,000 W peak power. We've seen more, but honestly, it's already difficult to fully utilize. Even for us, we were surprised the first time.
The AXIS Pro comes in two versions. The Freestyle features a 16S2P EVE 40P battery (60 V), for approximately 20 km of range, weighing only 16.9 kg. Light, designed for jumps and park sessions. The Long Range goes up to 50 km of range with a 16S4P Samsung 50S battery, but it makes the board heavier at 19.8 kg. It's designed for long rides, where range takes precedence over lightness.
This is a board that demands respect. The available power requires mastery, and it's best to progress in stages: start in beginner mode to get your bearings, gradually increase speed, then exploit its full potential once you're comfortable.
What we like
The power reserve is comfortable. The 16S high voltage means less heat at equivalent power and more responsiveness. The top box changes the center of gravity and provides control on descents, in addition to protecting the battery from ground impacts.
Who it's for
Riders who already master high-power riding. The Freestyle is made for park and jumps, the Long Range for long-distance rides. If you're starting mountainboarding, the NEXUS remains the best entry point.
New to electric skateboarding?
What you need to know before buying.
You don't need to be an experienced skateboarder to ride an electric skateboard. Most people who buy one have never skated before. What's different is that you have a remote control to accelerate and brake. You control your speed with millimeter precision, and the ground glides by without you having to push.
The first few times require a bit of adaptation, which is normal. All our models have an Eco mode that limits power and speed, designed exactly for this. You start in Eco, get your bearings, and gradually increase speed when you feel ready.
Regarding legality in France, electric skateboards come in two versions: a Sport version (unlimited, for private use or adapted terrains) and an EDPM (Engin de Déplacement Personnel Motorisé) version, electronically limited to 25 km/h to comply with public roads. All our 2026 models are available in both configurations, with the exception of the AXIS Pro which is only offered in the Sport version (not EDPM approved). To find out which one suits your use, the team is available by phone. For the complete legal framework: riding an electric skateboard legally in France.
Regarding model choice, we recommend starting with a board calibrated for learning in good conditions. The NEXUS is an excellent first choice for its stability and street + all-terrain versatility. The Xplorer V2 is also very accessible if you're looking for a versatile longboard. These are boards that will allow you to progress at your own pace, without limiting you too quickly. The AXIS Pro is a flagship designed for experienced riders who already master high-power riding: it's a target you'll probably aim for after getting your bearings on an initial model.
Which one to choose based on your use?
We'll help you decide in a few lines.

+4,000 riders, one spirit
The community that has kept the brand alive since 2007
Evo-Spirit is also a community of riders who share the same desire: to ride together, discuss sessions, and advance the sport. More than 4,000 Evo-Spirit boards are ridden daily in France and Europe, and the events that punctuate the year end up bringing together a good part of this community.
Every spring, we organize the E-Skate Weekend in Pornichet, open to everyone. In April 2026, nearly 100 riders came from all over France and beyond to ride together, test the final 2026 range, and share their feedback in an atmosphere that always extends beyond the ride sessions. The next event is already eagerly awaited, we'll talk about it soon enough.
30 minutes from Pornichet, in Rouans, Yvan and Maxime's L.A. Mountain Board Park has become another recurring meeting point. This is where we conducted a good part of the full-scale tests, and it's also where a good part of the region's mountainboard community gathers to ride. If you're passing through Loire-Atlantique, it's a spot to know.
And the rest of the year, the Evo-Spirit shop remains open in Pornichet. To try the boards on site, ask for advice, or pick up a part. By appointment, we'll schedule a slot and you'll leave with a precise idea of the model that matches your use. It's also the best way to meet the team and have a real face-to-face ride discussion.
To follow rides, ongoing prototypes, and upcoming events, we are also present on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The feed evolves with sessions, riders, and new products from the workshop.
Everything you need to know about the 2026 range
Evo-Spirit has been designing and repairing its electric skateboards in Pornichet (Loire-Atlantique) since 2007. The 2026 range adds 4 new models to the 8 models already in the catalog: NEXUS and NEXUS Pro as hybrid street and all-terrain mountainboards, Xplorer V2 Pro as a premium electric longboard, and AXIS Pro as a 16S flagship. All are covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty, with original spare parts available for at least 10 years after purchase. After-sales support is provided directly by the Pornichet workshop, reachable by phone or email from Monday to Friday. More than 4,000 riders use their boards daily. The answers below address the most frequent questions about this new range.
NEXUS vs NEXUS Pro?
Same motors, same battery, same 6,400 W combined power, same hybrid street and all-terrain use. The differences between the NEXUS and the NEXUS Pro are in the transmission and finishes. The NEXUS Pro has gear drive (vs belt drive on the NEXUS), with gold anodized finishes and a CNC aluminum remote control. Gear drive is more reliable over time: no belt breaking on rocks, regreasing approximately every 1,500 km. However, it is a bit noisier than belt drive. The NEXUS remains simpler mechanically and quieter. Both models share the same technical base: Samsung 50S 12S3P battery (15 Ah, 648 Wh), two 6384,140 KV motors, 55 km/h electronically limited in Sport mode, approximately 35 km of all-terrain range.
Can the NEXUS be ridden in the city?
Yes, the NEXUS is not calibrated solely for all-terrain. Its board design allows you to ride equally well on street and trails. The MTB trucks provide stability while maintaining good carving on asphalt. That's why we position the NEXUS as a hybrid street and all-terrain mountainboard, not as a pure AT board. For exclusively urban use with a lot of distance, the Xplorer V2 Pro in street configuration is more optimized (70 km street range, low dropdown deck).
AXIS Pro or NEXUS Pro?
The AXIS Pro is not an upgrade of the NEXUS Pro, it's a different platform designed for experienced riders. 16S (60 V) battery architecture in a top box instead of 12S (50.4 V) under the deck on the NEXUS Pro, 90 A ESC instead of 70 A, 10,000 W power instead of 6,400 W. The NEXUS Pro is calibrated for a hybrid mountainboard with comfortable torque for climbs. The AXIS Pro is calibrated for pure performance, with two versions (lighter Freestyle for the park, Long Range for long rides). For a first electric mountainboard, we always recommend the NEXUS or NEXUS Pro before the AXIS Pro.
What's the range of the AXIS Pro?
The AXIS Pro comes in two versions with different ranges depending on the battery. The Freestyle version is equipped with a 16S2P EVE 40P battery (60 V), for approximately 20 km of range. Lighter, at 16.9 kg, it's designed for agility, park, and jumps. The Long Range version features a 16S4P Samsung 50S battery (60 V), for approximately 50 km of range. It makes the board heavier at 19.8 kg but is suitable for those who fear reaching limits too quickly. Both versions share the same 6384,140 KV motors and 90 A ESC for a peak power of 10,000 W.
For commuting in the city?
For pure urban commute use, the Xplorer V2 Pro in street configuration is the most suitable in the 2026 range. It has 9 compatible wheel sets, including street wheels of different hardnesses. In street configuration, it offers up to 70 km of range on asphalt with its Samsung 50S 15 Ah battery. The bamboo and fiber dropdown deck ensures comfort on rough roads. Note: changing wheels is more complex with the Pro's gear drive. If you want to regularly switch between street and all-terrain, opt for an original Xplorer V2 with belt drive, or a NEXUS which handles both uses well without changing wheels.
Top speed?
All four models in the 2026 range reach 55 km/h electronically limited in Sport mode. This speed is reserved for use off public roads: private land, authorized forest paths, dedicated tracks. For use on public roads, all models are available in an EDPM (Engin de Déplacement Personnel Motorisé) version electronically limited to 25 km/h, in accordance with French regulations. Intermediate modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) are selectable on the remote control and allow you to adapt power and speed to the rider's experience and the terrain.
2026 Warranty?
All skateboards in the 2026 range are covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects. This is twice the minimum legal duration in France. In case of a breakdown during this period, the Pornichet after-sales support handles diagnosis and repair without additional charge. Beyond the 2-year warranty, spare parts remain available for at least 10 years, which guarantees an extended lifespan for each board. Evo-Spirit is one of the few electric skateboard designers to offer integrated after-sales support in France and original spare parts long-term.
Test before buying?
Yes, it's even the solution we recommend to avoid making the wrong model choice. The Evo-Spirit shop is located at 2C avenue du Gulf Stream, 44380 Pornichet, in Loire-Atlantique. It is open all year round from Monday to Friday by appointment. You contact us by phone at +33 2 40 22 16 22 or by email at info@evo-spirit.com, we schedule a slot, and we let you try the 2026 range boards on site. This approach allows you to identify the transmission, format, and power that truly match your use and skill level, which avoids post-purchase disappointment.
Choosing a 2026 electric skateboard from Evo-Spirit depends primarily on its intended use. To start hybrid street and all-terrain mountainboarding, the NEXUS is the best entry point with its quiet belt drive transmission and 12S 648 Wh battery. For riders looking for the premium gear drive version with gold finishes, the Xplorer V2 PRO is the hybrid longboard and the NEXUS PRO is the equivalent mountainboard. The AXIS Pro 16S is the flagship of the range (10,000 W peak power), in Freestyle version (16.9 kg, 20 km range) for the park or Long Range (50 km range) for long rides. All 2026 models are designed in Pornichet, guaranteed for 2 years, with original spare parts available for a minimum of 10 years and after-sales support provided by the workshop. If in doubt, the team is available to advise based on your profile, terrain, and use.
