The cruiser

The most compact of the three. A short deck inherited from the surf spirit: a light, playful format built for the city. Its compact shape favours agility and comfort on short rides.

The longboard

The all-rounder of the range. A long deck that delivers stability and comfort over time, perfect for covering distances without fatigue.

The mountainboard

Born in the '90s, inspired by snowboarding and surfing. A rugged chassis built for off-road: reinforced structure, bindings or grip depending on the model.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before choosing your board.

Evo-Spirit is a French manufacturer of electric skateboards founded in 2007 in Pornichet (Loire-Atlantique, France). The entire range is designed, assembled and serviced in our workshop at 2C avenue du Gulf Stream. The 2026 catalogue features 8 models across 3 families, from €790 to €2,390: a compact urban cruiser Cruz V2 (8.2 kg, 28 km range), four versatile longboards Switcher V3 and Xplorer V2 (30 to 70 km range, up to 55 km/h in the Sport version), and three all-terrain mountainboards NEXUS, Nexus PRO and Axis Pro (up to 10,000 W and around 60 km range). 2-year parts-and-labour warranty, spare parts available individually for at least 10 years. What's the difference between a cruiser, a longboard and a mountainboard?

The cruiser is compact (short deck, about 70 to 80 cm), built for the city. The longboard is longer (90 to 110 cm), so more stable, ideal for roads and trails. The mountainboard has wide tyres and spring trucks, made for all-terrain. The format you choose depends on your main terrain and the comfort you want.

Which category should you start e-skating with?

All three categories are beginner-friendly; the main criterion is terrain. For the city and tarmac, a cruiser or an urban longboard are perfect. To explore roads and trails, the Switcher V3 or Xplorer V2 are versatile. If you want off-road straight away, the NEXUS is the most accessible mountainboard.

What real range can you expect?

All our boards are tested in real conditions with a rider of around 75 kg, flat terrain, average speed and mild temperature. In normal use this figure can vary by up to 30% depending on terrain, weight and riding mode. Several models accept an optional second battery to extend range.

Do you need a licence or insurance?

E-skates are classified as PMD (Personal Mobility Devices). In France they are not allowed on public roads above 25 km/h. The Sport versions (powerful, up to 55 km/h) are reserved for private land. A road version limited to 25 km/h is available for public roads. No licence required, but insurance is mandatory.

What warranty comes with the boards?

All our new electric skateboards come with a 2-year parts-and-labour warranty. Repairs and after-sales service in France, spare parts available long-term. Our commitment: your board is repaired, not replaced, for maximum lifespan.

Can you test before buying?

Yes, we offer demo and test sessions by appointment. Contact us via the advice booking to arrange a test near you or for personalised advice over the phone.

Choosing an Evo-Spirit electric skateboard depends above all on your main terrain. For the city, the Cruz V2 (€790) is the most accessible and the lightest (8.2 kg). For roads and trails, the Switcher V3 City (€1,140) and Switcher V3 (€1,390) offer an excellent compromise. For all-road riding with 9 compatible wheel sets, the Xplorer V2 Sport (€1,690) and Xplorer V2 PRO (€1,890) handle both tarmac and trails. For pure off-road, the NEXUS (€1,890), Nexus PRO (€2,090) and Axis Pro (€2,390) mountainboards are built for rough terrain. If in doubt, the Pornichet team advises every rider based on their profile, terrain and budget.
