Fine-tuning the speedometer
for your wheels

On the Switcher HP, you can adjust the remote control's wheelspeed parameter to ensure the speed display is as accurate as possible for the type of wheels installed.

Important

Display only,
not actual speed

This setting does not change your skateboard's actual speed. It only adjusts the speed display on the remote control's LCD screen to match your wheels' diameter.

The parameter to modify is wheelspeed.

Procedure

How to access
the configuration menu

1. Enter the menu

With the remote control off, press both buttons simultaneously to enter the configuration menu.

2. Line 1: Speed Unit

Change the speed scale to km/h or mph using the scroll wheel. Press the right button to move to the next setting.

3. Line 2: wheelspeed

Use the scroll wheel to set the value corresponding to your wheels. Press the left button to confirm and save.

8-inch all-terrain wheels

Wheelspeed: 70

6-inch wheels

Wheelspeed: 64 (original default setting)

90mm longboard wheels

Wheelspeed: 71

⚠️ Limited version (street legal)

For limited skateboards that comply with public road legislation, no modifications will be possible: access to the general menu is intentionally locked. You cannot legally modify the firmware settings.
