Ride legally
on your electric skateboard
Since decree n°2019-1082, the use of electric skateboards on public roads is strictly regulated. Evo-Spirit offers all its models in compliant versions, so you can ride legally without sacrificing performance.

In urban areas
- Cycle paths and lanes
- Roads limited to 50 km/h (without a cycle path)
- Sidewalks: prohibited unless locally authorized
Outside urban areas
- Greenways and cycle paths: authorized
- Standard roads: prohibited

Sidewalks
Riding on sidewalks is prohibited unless explicitly authorized locally.
Passenger
Single rider use only. Carrying someone is prohibited.
Headphones
Riding with earphones or headphones is prohibited.
Alcohol / narcotics
Riding under the influence is strictly prohibited and penalized.
Obligations

Bell or horn is mandatory.
Front and rear lights
Lighting is mandatory for visibility.
Minimum 14 years old
Legal age required to ride on public roads.
Third-party liability insurance
Mandatory EDPM third-party liability insurance.
Otherwise: fines up to €1.500.
