Frequently Asked Questions about the AXIS Pro
The AXIS Pro is the flagship of Evo-Spirit's electric mountainboard range. High-voltage 16S architecture (60 V), 90 A controller, 6384 140KV motors for 10 000 W, Gold Gear Drive transmission, bindings included. Available in two versions: Freestyle (EVE 40P, 16.9 kg, €2.390) and Long Range (Samsung 50S, 19.8 kg, €2.890). Designed and tested in Pornichet, with a 2-year warranty. After-sales support at 02 40 22 16 22.
What is the difference between the AXIS Pro and the NEXUS Pro?
The AXIS Pro features a high-voltage 16S architecture (60 V) with a 90 A controller and Top Box design, while the NEXUS Pro uses a 12S architecture (50.4 V) with a 70 A controller. Both have a Gold Gear Drive, but the AXIS Pro delivers 10 000 W compared to 6 400 W and places the battery on top of the deck (Top Box). The AXIS Pro is available in two battery configurations; the NEXUS Pro has only one.
Which version to choose: AXIS Pro Freestyle or Long Range?
Choose the Freestyle if you prioritise weight (16.9 kg), agility, and freestyle; choose the Long Range if you want maximum range. The Freestyle uses EVE 40P cells in 16S2P, ideal for intense discharge. The Long Range uses Samsung 50S cells in 16S4P (19.8 kg), the same as in the NEXUS Pro, for longer sessions. Motor performance is identical for both versions.
Is the AXIS Pro suitable for beginners?
The AXIS Pro is designed for experienced riders who want maximum performance. Its 10 000 W and high-voltage 16S architecture make it the most powerful board in the range. It has 4 modes (Eco, Normal, Sport, Sport+), and Eco mode remains accessible for progression. However, its raw power and weight (16.9 or 19.8 kg) make it more suited to those who already master electric mountainboarding.
Are the bindings included?
Yes, the bindings are supplied with the AXIS Pro. Adjustable for all foot sizes and removable in seconds, they allow total control in freeride, descents, and jumps. The screws are Gold anodised, like the rest of the AXIS Pro's premium finishes.
Why is the AXIS Pro more powerful than the NEXUS?
The AXIS Pro surpasses other models thanks to its high-voltage 16S architecture (60 V vs 50.4 V) and its 90 A controller (vs 70 A). With the same 6384 140KV motors, the higher voltage and more powerful controller allow for 10 000 W to be extracted instead of 6 400 W, representing 25 % additional power. This gain translates into sharper acceleration and better climbing performance.
What is the warranty?
The AXIS Pro benefits from a 2-year manufacturer's warranty covering the battery, deck, motors, Gear Drive transmission, and labour. Beyond this, all spare parts remain individually available for a minimum of 10 years. Integrated after-sales support with workshop in Pornichet.
Where is Evo-Spirit's after-sales support located?
The after-sales support workshop is located at 2C avenue du Gulf Stream, 44380 Pornichet (Loire-Atlantique). Every part of the AXIS Pro is individually repairable: motor, battery, ESC controller, Gear Drive gears, Top Box, trucks, deck, and wheels. Original spare parts are available for a minimum of 10 years. Average lead time: 3 to 5 working days. Contact: 02 40 22 16 22 or info@evo-spirit.com.
Can the wheels be changed easily?
Yes, the AXIS Pro is compatible with 6 types of wheels, changeable in minutes. The 8-inch (200 mm) inflatables are the recommended choice for harnessing the AXIS Pro's power off-road. The 7-inch and 6-inch offer more manoeuvrability. 140 mm Airless for zero maintenance, 105 mm Boosted, and 115 mm Soft Rubber for urban use. All available as spare parts.
Do you deliver throughout Europe?
Yes, Evo-Spirit delivers the AXIS Pro throughout Europe with dispatch within 48 hours from the Pornichet warehouse. Delivery costs are calculated at checkout. Payment is possible in 2, 3, or 4 instalments via Alma. VAT is included for all European Union countries (OSS).
Does the AXIS Pro have an EDPM version?
No, the AXIS Pro is not available in a road-legal EDPM version. Its power (10 000 W) and high-voltage 16S architecture are not compatible with the 25 km/h EDPM speed limit as regulated in France. For a street-legal version, we recommend the Xplorer V2 or the NEXUS Classic in their EDPM versions.
