The Loire à Vélo
by electric skateboard
David, an Evo-Spirit rider since 2011, took on the challenge of covering 5 stages of 68 to 75 km on a Switcher HP along the famous Loire à Vélo route. From Cuffy to Tours, solo and completely self-sufficient.
Evo-Spirit Rider
since 2011
Hi, I'm David, 46 years old. I discovered electric skateboarding in 2011 with an Evo Skate cross 800. For me, when products are reliable and efficient, I don't look elsewhere. I've trusted Evo-Spirit for over 10 years, and I regret it even less since the Switcher HP!
What I enjoy: country lanes, greenways, and bridleways. The more kilometres I get under my belt, the more I enjoy it!
5 stages, 350+ km,
backpack on our shoulders
Equipped with numerous removable, interchangeable batteries, David embarked on the last section of the Loire à Vélo: Cuffy (near Nevers) to Tours. 5 stages of 70 to 75 km solo, completely self-sufficient.

🌿 Overall Impression
What a joy to travel these country roads, canals and wooded paths. Surprised by how understated the Loire was at the beginning and by the presence of nuclear power plants along the banks.
🏰 Highlights
The Bec d'Allier with its canal bridge, and arriving at Chambord Castle by crossing the forest estate. Magical! A reliable skateboard underfoot, no worries.
🔄 And if you had to do it again?
A road trip without a backpack, or with a travel partner to carry the gear. Riding with two batteries is not a problem. Ultimately, he was delighted with this adventure and his Switcher HP.
