The Loire à Vélo
by electric skateboard
David, an Evo-Spirit rider since 2011, took on the challenge of covering 5 stages, ranging from 68 to 75 km each, on his Switcher HP along the famous Loire à Vélo route. He rode from Cuffy to Tours, solo and with full range.
Evo-Spirit Rider
since 2011
Hi, I'm David, 46 years old. I discovered electric skateboarding in 2011 on an Evo Skate Cross 800. When products are reliable and efficient, I stick with them. I've trusted Evo-Spirit for over 10 years, and I'm even happier since getting the Switcher HP!
I love riding on small country roads, greenways, and shortcuts. The more kilometers I cover, the more I enjoy it!
5 stages, 350+ km,
backpack on my shoulders
Equipped with numerous removable, interchangeable batteries, David embarked on the last section of the Loire à Vélo: Cuffy (near Nevers) to Tours. He completed 5 stages of 70 to 75 km solo, with full range.

🌿 The overall assessment
What a joy it was to ride these country roads, canals, and wooded paths. I was surprised by how discreet the Loire was at the beginning and by the presence of nuclear power plants along the banks.
🏰 The highlights
The Bec d'Allier with its canal bridge, and arriving at Chambord Castle by crossing the forest domain. Magical! A reliable skateboard underfoot, no worries at all.
🔄 Would I do it again?
I'd do a road trip without a backpack, or with a travel partner for transport. Riding with two batteries isn't an issue. Ultimately, I'm delighted with this adventure and my Switcher HP.
