Hello, first time on an electric board, with the evo SCC I started in turtle mode, naturally. It's very accessible, once you've figured out where to position your feet: no problem, the board is long and wide enough to refine; and necessarily experienced some initial imbalances... In turtle mode, the motor is very smooth, which is reassuring... but makes you want to go further quickly. The brakes brake without unbalancing the rider, with a bit of flexibility.. As for hills, in turtle mode, forget about it. As for descents, even in freewheel, I really have to start over from the beginning.... So, I'm 50 years old, I did a bit of board at 10 / 15 years old... I snowboard on vacation, I got back on a board a bit on vacation too... In short, not really the profile... Well, I had a lot of fun, in turtle mode for 1 hour... A little tip for beginners, like me, in turtle mode, it seems simpler and nicer to get on and launch the board before activating the motor, ... In short, as soon as it stops raining, in Normandy, I'm switching to HARE mode.. See you soon Jean Luc
